Celebrating the March Cohort of WorkAdvance Findlay: A Testament to Dedication and Natural Talent
“90% of life is showing up: for your job, for your family, for yourself.”
For the graduates of the March WorkAdvance Findlay cohort, showing up was no small feat. These individuals juggled full-time jobs, family responsibilities, and countless daily challenges—yet they committed to this opportunity, proving their resilience and drive. What makes this group even more remarkable? Every single person who walked through the doors on day one crossed the finish line at graduation. This is a first for WorkAdvance Findlay, and we could not be prouder.
This One’s for the Girls
Cohort #11 of WorkAdvance brought a refreshing balance, with more women than men in this session—a first for the program! But what really stood out was their unwavering commitment. Even with ice and snow making travel difficult, this was our first-ever cohort to achieve perfect attendance.
Celebrating Gratitude
The highlight of the celebration was a shared meal where team members and graduates came together as a community. It was a time to celebrate not only the end of training but also the beginning of new chapters in each participant’s life.

WorkAdvance Celebrates One Year of Success
Many of these individuals already possess the foundational skills sought by local manufacturers. What they need is focused guidance to bridge the gap between their potential and meaningful employment opportunities within our community. WorkAdvance Findlay celebrates over 60 graduates since the program’s inception with a special program Friday, October 11, 2024.

Tatiana’s Success Story
Inspired by the impact the program had on her life, she decided to give back. After completing her training, she volunteered with the program, helping others find their path to success. By August 2024, she was standing alongside the 8th cohort of WorkAdvance graduates, applauding their achievements, just as she had been applauded only months before.
